Update gone wrong!! Help please

So i usually leave my computer on but when i woke up it wasnt turned on, so i booted it up and it said a windows update might not of installed properly, so i ignored it and booted up windows normally, and when the cursor showed up big, i said oh no. My whole screen is big now. I went into system restore and the only thing that was there was a windows update, and it said it was critical. Should i restore or is there another way?

Hi, the screen resolution is back to normal. It might of been a bad boot up, or because the VGA cable was loose on the monitor, cause it said no VGA cable..

Oh and i updated my GPU drives before, and i had the same problem with the resolution. So i restored that when it happened cause i didnt know how to fix it.
