selecting a video card

hello,
my rig is
processor :i3 540
ram: 8 gb 1333 ddr3
psu:local psu 450w (the brand is colors)
my current video card is gt 520 2 gb.
i want to upgrate my video card.
my eyes on
gtx 650 2 gb ,gtx 750 1 gb,
radeon 7770,
which is better;and is therre any better or other options in these price range.

The 650 Ti Boost is much faster than the 7770 and faster than the 7850.....from the 7xx series, if budget allows for a 750 Ti, that's where I'd go

It needs a 300 watt PSU

I don't consider 1 GB cards suitable for 1920 x 1080 ....650 Ti Boost is faster, cheaper and can SLI

With the death of scrypt gpu mining there is now a huge glut of used amd video cards.
Keep in mind that many of these mined 24/7 and have wear and tear on them.

Look at local ads for used cards. Make sure you see it working and passing a few tests like furmark and playing a game or two.
A budget 450watt wont put out what something like a antec, ocz, seasonic, or corsair will. Look at the 12 volt rail amps. Some have 2 rails and some have a single larger one. Look for a pcie plug. You might need some molex to pcie adaptor cables, some cards came with them.
Some cards like the R270x or R265 or geforce 750ti are easier on power and should be ok. These also match the former geforce 480, 570,580 and hd 5870, 6970 while sipping power.

A $60 hd-5870 is 1600 shaders for cheap. A hd-5770, 6770 is 800 shaders. the 6790,6850,6870,6950,6970 would all be ok. Some might have a upgraded cooler when the factory fans died. Its a chance on used so be careful. Cards like the geforce 260,270,275,460,460ti,560,560ti would be ok too.
These should be $30 to $60.

You are limited with that dual core cpu. It will be cpu limited with larger gpus like the R265, 750ti, 560ti, hd-5870, 6950,6970. Some of the larger gpus might need a new power supply like the 6970 and 560ti. It is possible to under clock a 5870 or hd-4870 so it will run on a smaller power supply.

The even older geforce 250, 9800gt, 8800gt are also pretty good. A $20 video card is possible here.

my monitor is samsung Syncmaster sa1000;would gtx 650 2 gb sufficient to play future games like cod advanced warfare at medium to high settings?

The 650 Ti Boost would be a far better option at just about the same price.....25% faster and SLI'able
