Hi guys, I am fairly new to the PC community and so would like to ask for some help from the experts who are commonly found on Tom's Hardware.

I am looking to purchase a 2GB EVGA gtx 750 TI superclocked

however, I do not know whether my PSU is sufficient. I do not know how to read it, so I will list the details here for your expert eyes to survey.

+3.3V 16A MAX
+5V 20A MAX 120W MAX
----------------------- 450 W MAX
+12V1 18A MAX 500W(MAX.PEAK)
+12V2 16A MAX 360 MAX
-----------------------
+5V(SB) 2A MAX
-12V 0.3A MAX

Thank you guys

Arjan

In addition, it seems that this gpu only needs 300W supply, do I still need to upgrade, as that's pretty difficult at this point

Solution

That should do the job. You should know however that oem power supplies usually grossly overstate their stats.

That card can run on 300w power supplies.

And after looking yes, it runs completely off the pcie slot no additional power cables.

By the info you provided no, since it says 450w.

Do you know the brand name and model?
