8.1 in my case is recognizing the second HDMI monitor, but its not receiving the signal to output, i.e. I get the "No RGB" message and the screen goes blank. I know the second monitor is being recognized because
1. I can see it in the control panel,
2. I can pass the mouse onto the second monitor (it doesn't stop at the right edge of the first monitor),
3. my desktop items disappear and presumably move over to the other monitor.
Two problems,
1. how do I get my windows and desktop icons back on to the first monitor
2. how do I get the second monitor to display?!
I have updated the drivers.
AMD Radeon HD 8570D
