Hi, will a wireless USB network adapter still be just as effective in a 15' USB extension cable? The wireless modem and router that I am using are currently located in a very old basement as I am getting an unreliable connection and I cannot move either closer to one another.

Thanks =)

Yes, and potentially better. On a long USB cable, you can move it around. If I'm upstairs in my house, 15' from one end of the hall to the other can result in a 25% difference in WiFi speed.
