Hi there, I know this gets asked and answered a lot, but I feel like I am in a slightly different situation than most.

I want to build a PC for HD Video Editing and streaming on Twitch.tv. I will not be gaming on this computer, I have a PS4 for that and I use an Elgato Game Capture HD to record gameplay. I will be using either OBS or XSplit to stream, and I will be using Sony Vegas Pro 12 to edit montages and other videos.

I have never Overclocked before, so I do not know if this would be necessary for me. The max money I am willing to shell out on this is $1,000 before monitors. I would like to have a 2 monitor set up as well.

I appreciate your help in advance.

Just did this for someone else, too lazy to rework it. You can use any similar configuration. I edit videos on my i5-3750K and it works well. I just have a lot more storage and larger SSDs (including an SSD for storing the captured video and the processed video) - no hard drives - that speeds things up nicely. :)
