I just upgraded from win Xp to 7 and I'm running into the problem where my two sata drives( one ssd with win 7 loaded on it and one 1 tb hard drive with a Ubuntu partition on one half and my win 7 data files on the other.). Cannot be accessed in the GUI and Especially on reboots not showing up and the computer gives an error that says please insert boot media or something like that. I'm wondering if my hard drive is failing and I should replace it or if something else is wrong. I tried to update the bios but that did not help. Also after turning my computer off and waiting 15 or so minutes the computer boots up fine and has no problems. The only thing I can think off is my hard drive is bad but I don't what to spend money and time in it and only find out something else is wrong.
