No USB Boot option in Asus Z97 Pro UEFI

I just built my first PC and I have a copy of Windows on a USB flashdrive. When trying to boot from it, I plug it into my PC, and start it up, but there is no USB option in the boot option menu. Any solutions? Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Other Specs:
Intel Core i5 4670k
8GB Vengeance RAM
Asus GTX 770 2GB
WD Black 1TB HDD
EVGA 750W PSU

I'm having a similar issue when trying to install win7 pro on a Z97-A build. The USB comes up in the boot menu but when selected it goes to black screen for a few seconds and then goes back to bios. Haven't tried much to have any suggestions for you but I'm looking into the issue.

in the boot menu under advanced settings change the usb mode to full initialization then save and restart. this will enable all usb devices and it will boot from the usb automatically.
