AMD R9 280X vs. AMD R9 270X

I currently have an AMD R9 270X graphics card, I am curious on whether or not to spend the extra 100 or 200 to get an R9 280X or 290X. and whether or not I would see a significant increase in performance for the money or not.
Any help would rock and I am deeply sorry if this topic was previously discussed. I couldn't find anything through google or through here.

ur current videocard is fine, ud see an increase with a 290 or 290x but u already got a good videocard. no point in upgrading if your happy with performance.

How much of an increase with the 290X? And do you have any info or a webpage you can direct me to in order to show me how much of an increase it would be? and what about the next series?
