My wireless M525 mouse worked fine when I first bought it, then after several months it started to reconnect and disconnect randomly. Now today it just disconnected altogether. No matter how many times I reinsert the USB, I hear no chime for when a device is inserted. The mouse isn't listed under Device Manager. I've tried different USB slots and the batteries are fine, as it glows green when I turn it on.
I can't confirm it's a problem with the computer and not the mouse because I do not have another computer to test it on, but number one, the mouse still glows green when I turn it on, and number two, this has happened with my last mouse (which was older and corded) so I do think it is most likely a problem with the computer.
