Basically, computer will run fine for a few hours without any major cpu load then it'll freeze. I've ran memtest which had no issues, I've always ran GPU tests with no issues. As soon as I run heavyload to test the CPU usage it freezes. As soon as I open any program other than internet explorer it'll freeze within fifteen minutes. I've updated my bios to the newest settings and also checked my ram timings to ensure they were correct. Even downgraded it to 1333 instead of 1600 to see if that would do anything and it didn't. I can load any game, but once I enter a lobby it'll freeze within seconds. I built this on a budget to do a little gaming and some streaming but its just been a constant nightmare the past two weeks trying to figure out whats wrong. I had windows 7 ultimate installed at the moment, and it also has the same issues with Ubuntu so I know it's not an operating system issue. I'm leaning towards the power supply that came with my case isn't powerful enough under stress and is having voltage drops causing cpu failure but would like a second opinion.
CPU : AMD FX-8350 4.0 GHZ
GPU : Nvidia 640 GT
RAM: 2x4GB Kingston HyperX
SSD: 120 GB XLR8 (operation system only)
HHD: 250 GB Western Digital
MOBO : ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0
Stock CPU Cooler with 5 Case Fans
I can't find much information on the power supply other than what is listed here on newegg where I purchased the bundle

GPU Runs at 50 C Under stress test, and CPU runs around 38 IDLE, not sure what it is running under stress since it freezes before I can get it hot. I've opened my case and had a huge fan blowing directly on the mobo as well to see if that would help and it didn't do anything. Mobo is installed correctly with insulated spacers as well so I don't think its a short.
