why is it that the internal cooling fan of my Su-Kam Pure Sine WAve Home UPS is not working? it worked just once during the installation, but after a minute or less it turns off. will it turn on automatically?

There is no reason for the fan to operate unless the dc to ac inverter is being used which would only be during a power outage. Even then it would only have to come on when the internal temperature reached a set point. If you turn the unit on and off the fan may come on for a short time as a test.
