What is faster than the motorola sbg6580

I am currenty using cable one internet and it comes with a motorola SBG6580 wireless modem router. But I want to buy a seperate modem and router because I do alot of gaming but not to sure what router/modem to buy... not worried about price and something that is pretty simple to setup

What do you think you will gain by upgrading? You already have DOCSIS 3 and N wireless. Gaming usually requires low bandwidth and low latency. If you are gaming on wireless, the problem is likely high latency. That is something a new WiFi router in the same location may or may not resolve. A bit more description of your problem would help focus the issue.
