So i have a shitty geforce gt 610 graphics card so i have to run most games on low and i optimized witcher 2 using geforce expierince and it changes the reso from 1920x1080 to 1280x720 but the game crashes at launch. This happens for a lot of games on steam like bioshock infinite, hawken, ghosts phantom recon... For Battlefild 4 my reso is 1280x720 and i can open it and play it fine. I would love to know how to fix this

GeForce Experience is pretty much garbage. It almost never gets the settings right on my PC, and with a bit of experience, any gamer can easily tweak settings themselves to get the most out of their PC, more effectively than GeForce Experience. I uninstalled it last time I updated my drivers.

Of course, we can't be certain GeForce Experience is causing your issues, I just recommend you don't use it because it's not helpful.

Have you successfully played the games that are crashing before, or is this the first time you've tried them?

I have an AMD FX-4300 and 8gb, everything on my setup is pretty good except that GPU... Ive been thinking of upgrading it for a while maybe a nvidia geforce gtx 650.

I have played all the other games that are crashing now that also had the 1280x720 reso. i don't understand why they all crash now... Also, i can play all the games with 1280x720 in windowed mode but the taskbar is very annoying in that setting

My only problem is budget. I have around $120 to spend on a graphics card and i can only find the 750 ti for around $150. What about the 750?

I had a feeling that 650w was useful. Another thing, I would like to get a nvidia so i can have the shadowplay, but AMD cards seem to be a lot cheaper. Is the extra $$$ worth getting for shadowplay?

Depends on your own preferences, mate. However, keep in mind that you are upgrading from GT610 to 750Ti. That is not one, but several worlds of difference in terms of performance. Absolute cr*ppy bottom vs a very solid mid-range performer. You can only be happy with whatever the choice you make.
