I've read online that the pump should be running at about 2000-2200 rpm and I've also noticed that my temps have been getting very high, over 70's in prime95. I have an i5 4670k currently running at 4.2 GHz. Anyone know if the pump is broken or am I just doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!

You don't give your temps, let alone say whether at idle, gaming or Prime 95

My bad -'high 70's'. That's not too bad with Prime95.

What in idle and gaming?

Idle at like 45C and gaming getting close to 70C. I also forgot to mention that sometimes that my comp will randomly shut off (because of overheating) and when I boot it back on I go into the BIOS and it says fan error, meaning my cpu cooling system. So I have the feeling that the cooling system is just starting to fail.

OK - they are too high. RMA your pump
