Hi, this is my second post so it could be in the wrong section!
This PC is not for me but I will be building it in the future for my friend. He has a Packard Bell imedia s... with 1tb HDD, i3 550, windows 7 home 64 bit and 7GB of Ram (Odd I know) and 250w psu. Not a great PC. It takes about 2-3 minutes to boot and is slow all round.
New PC:
Pentium G3258 hope to overclock on stock cooler to 4Ghz
120/128GB SSD (os drive)
SAME 1TB HDD as old pc
corsair cx 430w psu
Same DVD drive
Not sure on mobo, the pentium g3258 overclocks well with good performance increases so a decent motherboard. H81/B85? I have the asus versions of these boards can overclock with latest bios update. (Asus H81I-PLUS Motherboard)
Cooler master elite 130 mITX case
Corsair 8 GB RAM
This PC is on a very small budget hence the cheap CPU! £300 total MAX!
Any cost cuts would be great help. Thanks!
