Recently my PC has been a lot louder and hotter than it used to be. I could usually play any game on max settings quite easily, but recently if i load up, let's say Dota 2, my computer starts sounding like a jet engine and the temps are through the roof. This might be because when i built my PC i rushed into buying some components and bought a crappy PSU and needed to use a few adapters which also made cable management very hard. Could a big clump of wires smother components any restrict airflow?
My relevant specs are;
CPU: I5 3570K
GPU: Palit GTX 680
MOBO: ASUS p8z77v-pro
i have the stock CPU cooler
my CPU idles used to be around 29-30 degrees, but now there are around 50-55 degrees.
My PC used to be relatively quiet but now its taking the piss, but i understand the average computer won't be completely silent.
