So I'm pretty new to the world of pc gaming and DIY pc rigs. I've put together a nice little rig with a 1TB hard drive. I re-downloaded all of my Steam games and realized that the hard drive will fill up in no time. I like to have all my games downloaded at all times just in case I ever get an itch to play an old game, it's right there waiting for me. So I hooked up my old 1TB hard drive as well and formatted it to be a storage device. If I put half of my Steam games on the old hard drive will it still be easily accessible? I have done nothing to the old hard drive since formatting it because it comes up as a removable hardware eject media, even though it's an internal hard drive. I have clicked the safely remove hardware eject media by mistake a few times and my old hard drive disappears, prompting me to re-start my computer to get it back. That makes me nervous about putting anything on it. Any tips or ideas?
