SPECS:

3rd Gen Intel Core i5-3470 Processor (Quad Core, 3.20GHz Turbo, 6MB)
Windows 7 Professional
Intel® Q77 Express Chipset
4GB (1X4GB) 1600 MHz DDR3
Integrated HD2500 Graphics
500GB 3.5inch Serial ATA III (7.200 Rpm) Hard Drive
16XDVD+/-RW Drive
Expansion slots: 1 full height PCIe x16 1 full height PCIe x16 (wired x 4) 1 full height PCIe x1 1 full height PCI
Standard 275W PSU Active PFC

I just want to add a second monitor , but there is only 1 vga port. So i thought of just buying one of these:

ASUS HD5450-SL-HM1GD3-L-V2 / AMD Radeon HD 5450 / PCI-E 2.1 / 1GB DDR3 / 32-bit / Core 650 MHz / Memo 900 MHz / D-Sub / DVI-I / HDMI / HDCP

ASUS 210-1GD3-L / NV GeForce 210 / PCI-E 2.0 / 1GB DDR3 / 64-bit / Core 589 MHz / Memo 1200 MHz / D-Sub /DVI / HDMI / HDCP

They are both PCI-E. But i am not sure if they will work. Will the PSU be enough?

you system has a 275W PSU which is strong enough to power either of the two video cards you are looking at.

the motherboard does have a PCIe 16x slot for the video card to fit in.

I would get the ASUS 210-1GD3-L plus you will need a DVI to VGA connecter to hook up your second monitor.

when inserting the card it will most likely disable the on-board video card

yes it did disable it, was weird why it did that, is there any way to use them simultaneously? I used the dvi to vga connecter also. All is working great, but i was just wondering if there was a possibility to enable the on-board card?
