Hey!

I am from India.. so shipping costs are high .. hence I only buy from sites like www.flipkart.com

BIG THANK YOU shoutout to Eduello who made the following build for me from flipkart

http://www.flipkart.com/wishlist/eetuhk-9779 .. $1000 system ..

As he seems to be currently offline, could you guys please tweak this build with following points?
( budget of $1000 cant change )
1) I am a bit of intel fanboy, so which intel cpu+mobo should i go for instead of AMD cpu+mobo?
2) I am not into overclocking, so is that extra cooling fan required? I have always had very stable 40 degree celsius temps on all my previous intel machines with high gaming and everything .. the boxpacked fan that comes with the processor has always been adequate.

My local vendor suggested me intel i7 4th gen processor with some 85 flintel or some such motherboard .. which I am not happy about .. i dont think its a gaming motherboard..

please swap out amd cpu mobo with something of intel thats not bad but fits in the price range .. and let me know how BAD the system will become if I go for it .. [ bad because ofcourse, i will have to buy some lower version of intel.. may be i5? .. guide me plz.. tx ]

Very good budget combination. Does match the i5 in most applications and games, but get an aftermarket cooler. They get really hot with the stock one.

Gaming motherboards IMHO are of no use to me. All they offer is higher overclockability and better pings in games.

Intel Core i5-4690K + Asus Z97 Pro, cooled by a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.

That is a great bundle. The board in particular is excellent and has almost all the features of the ROG series boards.

Omit overclockability .. but "better pings in games" is a major necessity .. how much better? I mean I always thought that ping had much less to do with motherboard but has everything to do with quality of your internet connection to gaming server .. distance and traceroute taken being the most important factors for ping? pls explain why motherboard matters for better pings in games.. also, do I really need K series cpu, i NEVER overclock.. thanks.

thanks a loads dude, one more quick Q.. I have always been using intel and I have always been having very stable 40 degree centigrade temperature while gaming and stuff.. I have never had to use extra fan like coolmaster as the fan that comes boxpacked with CPU [ is that what they call stock fan? ..actually wanted to ask that too.. what does the term stock mean in pc world?] .. but then again I have not purchased a new system in last 5 years.. so in today's world is that extra cooling necessary? [ My location has not changed so surrounding temp is same ]

If where you live is regularly warm, it is recommended that an aftermarket heat sink on your CPU is fitted. The stock fan is not very good in warmer climates, but an aftermarket one has more cooling and conducting surface area, meaning much lower temperatures.
