Kerbal Space Program exe. has stopped working

Sorry if this is in the wrong section or anything like that. I was having log-in problems on the steam website so I couldn't post my problem there. Anyway, here is the issue I am having. I had the kerbal space program demo on my P.C. for about a week or so and just bought it on the last day of the steam summer sale. It upgraded me to the full version from the demo and I was happily on my way to build and wreck some badly designed ships. Unfortunately the game started crashing. The game runs just fine when it works. Not really any lag, everything runs smoothly. The game will just randomly exit back to my desktop where it shows me the message, "KSP.exe has stopped working (a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available). " So I have no Idea what to do in order to fix this. I have tried re installing the game to no avail. So please help me out with this. Thanks all.

Not much we can do; have you tried uninstalling, then reinstalling the game?
Also, be on lookout for a patch that may be available in the future, if the crash is reported by a bunch of users it should be addressed by the developer. Other than that, only the developer itself can help you out.

Have you verified the integrity of the game cache using steam?
