The almost full drive is the original drive and its old. The drive on the right is new and is almost 1tb. I use http://to clone my first hard drive into the new one. Though I am not sure why the old drive is getting filled. What happens when it gets full>?

If your drive gets too full of bits - the bits will start spilling on the floor. I don't know about you - but I hate cleaning up spilled bits. (ok - just kidding).

Your system will likely complain before you get there - however if it does not - then you may have a hung process when the last bit is written and more remain.

There may be a good reason your drive is filling fast - junk files and recycle bin are primary culprits.

Also if it is old, then you may have a number of bad sectors - which when identified, are taken out of the available storage.

Turns out a 97.9 gb file was hiding from me. It was a tib file from acronis. Its actually a backup of my D drive with all of my games and ios D: I deleted it and now I have 104 free gbs. I accidently made a backup of my D drive, when I should have made a backup of my C drive
