gtx 650 for next gen gaming

Hi,I'm thinking about replacing my nvidia gts 250 with gtx 650 1gb.Will it be enough for next gen gaming and at what settings?

rest of my system:
Intel core 2 quad q8400 2.66GHz
DDR2 RAM 4gb 400MHz(will add 4gb more)

At 1080p, the gtx650 will be enough for low/medium settings depending on the game.

gtx 750ti is a good choice and definitely worth the extra 40USD

It will be marginally better than the 650, but not nearly as good as the 750ti.

The 750 is a good card too, only about 20% slower than the 750ti, but the big difference is the 1GB of vram vs 2GB for the 750ti which will only continue to make a bigger difference in the future. There are already multiple games out that use over 1GB of vram above low or medium settings.

If you can try to get an r7 250x. It will only cost $10 more but it is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the 650 by like 33%.
