My machine has the following config ::
Crosshair V formula Z board
FX8350 cpu
8x2 DDR3 RAM (
GTX 670 4GB GPU
500W PSU
Everything has been working perfectly fine since past year when I built this machine but recently I have been facing a weird issue. When I power up the system, I see no display on the monitor, like it gets no signal. The board lights up, the fans spin but the HDD led indicator on the front of the tower shown no sign of activity. I have to shut down the computer from the mains and the power it back up and have to do it multiple times and one of these times, the HDD indicator randomly lights up and I see the display on the screen.
I bought a brand new internal seagate baracuda drive but even with that I got the same problem.
I have no idea whats going on and how to fix this. Someone please help!
Troubleshooting steps I have taken till now ::
Swapped the RAM modules
Reconnected the cables
Reset the CMOS (By pressing the button behing the board)
I tried disconnecting the GPU but I get an error saying please connect the GPU and power cycle.
