I have two Radeon 290x GPUs, and I was wondering if I should use one big really nice monitor, or if I should just use multiple monitors that aren't as big or as good. Suggestions?

What is your budget? You should probably get three monitors if you go with a multi-monitor setup because with only two, there will be that gap between the monitors which does not look good while gaming. Or, you could go with a 32" monitor from Dell or something.

Um? what are you thinking about doing with the monitor or monitors? are you going to be gaming or doing a ton of rendering personally I am not a big monitor geek but I would try to aim for some 120Hz monitors that would be good for what ever your thinking about doing with your rig. here are some monitors i would recommend.

Any of these monitors should suit your needs. Good luck!

The most important thing is to know your purpose and budget.
This is a very good choice, it has everything you need to enjoy a good game, because to me personally for the PC I see no need as large monitors, also have really thin edges and can put easily 2 or 3 monitors together without edges bother much.

You could ether go with a single 4k, 2 2k or 3 1080p

I think that option is pretty good, unless you want to use 3D and stuff, honestly a 60Hz monitor seems more than adequate and an excellent choice for gaming, other aggregates, although if they are "IMPROVEMENTS" .. . did not feel it worth the extra money, of course it all depends on the extent to which your going to use, if only dell gaming .... I really like that at their edges.
