I would get the Z97 PRO if it is the same price, ASUS parts are usually considered to be more premium, and the addition of Wi-Fi is nice. For the same price, the additional features make it difficult to ignore.
I have the previous version (Z87 PRO) and it is a great board, with more features than i can use. You have more than enough I/O ports etc on either board.
If the Z97 PRO is anything like my Z87 PRO board, or the one in the Toms Hardware Z87 review, it will also be able to give you some good overclocking.
Most of the things advertised on the MSI board are marketing terms to try and get you to buy one for gaming, eg the 'Gaming USB port', 'Game networking', 'Audio Boost 2' etc.
