Computer Randomly Shuts down after 10 minutes of launching game

Hi guys,
One of my friends is having a problem with her computer. Her computer is perfectly fine when on idle, however when she starts playing a game, specifically CS:GO, her computer will randomly shutdown after around 10 minutes. This happened a few months ago and we figured it was the power supply, so I bought her a new one, and the problem stopped. However, now it's back. Her computer specs are as follows;

Motherboard - Gigabyte M68MT-S2P
CPU - AMD Phenom IIX4 965 @ 3.4GHz
RAM - 4GB (unsure of the make and speed)
Graphics Card - ATI Radeon 4890 1GB
Power Supply - Corsair 750W Modular
HDD - Western Digital 250GB WD25

On idle, her CPU temperature reaches around 30-35° and upon launching CS:GO her CPU reaches around 50-60°. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Oops, that's one thing I forgot! When running CS:GO, it gets to around 30-40°.

    She might want to invest in a new CPU cooler and case fans for higher airflow. 50-60 is really high thats like 140 ish in Fahrenheit so it could be crashing of literally heat stroke. I have a h80 and it keeps my CPU at a cool 27c so that is more than likely the problem. my friend had the same problem on his laptop a while back. It would get so hot that it would burn his leg and it would randomly shut off. He opened it up and cleaned the fans of the caked up dog hair lol. Good luck on fixing the issue here is a link to the cooler I use and its been running strong for 2 years. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=35-181-030

    I'm not aware of the BIOS at the moment, I'll get her to take a look. When she turns her computer back on, I'll get her to check that everything's up to date, and get her to defrag. I'll update once it's been done.

    Thanks, I'll let her know.
  7. Yeah my friends got one of those and it works great. I just lean towards closed loop water cooling a bit more.
  8. This is solved? Really, what was the solution?
