how will this set up work

i have amd a4-3400 APU with radeon(tm) HD graphics (2 CPUs),2.7 GHz
4 gb ram
500 gb HDD
psu 400w

i will buy "Sapphire R7 260X OC, 2GB GDDR5" and some 500w psu(corsair,coolermaster...)
main thing to me is to run bf3 good so ive been told that with this card it will go ultra.My question is will everything go well with the other components.

You will be unable to get max fps the graphics card is capable of, because the bf3 itself hogs dual core cpus so much that they rarely have remaining resources to feed the graphics card with data. Now, that doesnt hold for latest pentium based on haswell, this one is much faster. However, you have a quite slow dual core to begin with. Get any quad and you are golden. You should be able to max it out and play smooth.

could you explain. what will happen if i just add gpu and psu how will preformance go??thanks
