Do I need this?

So, first off SORRY for the newbie question.
Do I need a PCI internet wireless card to connect to the internet with a wireless connection? Or would I NEED a wireless card? (Not sure WHAT they do, hence this question) I'll be in a room above the internet router..

If you're not going to connect to the router via ethernet, then yes, you will need some form of a wireless card. USB vs PCIe doesn't matter as far as I'm aware.

Yeah if you're setting up a wireless network you'll usually need your router, modem, and some form of wireless PCI card or USB dongle to be able to connect to your router.
