This is better: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 740 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor (£48.56 @ CCL Computers)
Motherboard: MSI A55M-E33 Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard (£31.54 @ Aria PC)
Memory: Patriot Signature 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£52.98 @ Ebuyer)
Storage: Hitachi Deskstar 750GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£29.70 @ CCL Computers)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R7 260X 2GB Video Card (£85.00 @ Amazon UK)
Case: Thermaltake Versa H22 ATX Mid Tower Case (£26.24 @ Scan.co.uk)
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply (£31.10 @ Amazon UK)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHDS118-04 DVD/CD Drive (£9.58 @ Scan.co.uk)
Total: £314.70
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Not sure why there was an A10 in those builds, an APU, with a graphics card as well. This 740 is a dedicated CPU, leaving more processing power unused by graphics.

A10-5800K and Athlon II X4 740
Standard supported memory: DDR3-1866

I think you need some good Fans:
- 1x 120 mm (front optional)
- 1x 92 mm (rear panel, pre-installed)
- 2x 120 mm (sidewall optional)

Better build for the budget definitely goes to Iron

With such a tight budget I would go for a Pentium G3258 as it pretty much beats the athlon in most games plus you have the option for an i5 later on where with the Athlon you're pretty much stuck

I think irons looks good, but is the graphics card better than the GeForce 750?

In my opinion, yes, it is, simply because it is a newer card and seems to preform slightly better. Also, it's a tad cheaper than what 750's are going for right now.

The 260x isn't a beast, but you will get Mid to High range settings on most games.

The 260X and the 750 perform more or less the same. I would go for an R7 265 which is roughly five pounds more than the 260X but 25% faster.
