Can I Use 144Hz With 60Hz?

This Dell U2414H costs $280 at Newegg. It is 60Hz, 24", 1080p, and has 4 USB ports. This Asus VG248QE costs $270, 24", 1080p, and no USB ports. Can I use 1 Dell and 1 Asus monitor? Or if I cant, which one should I buy?

Yes, but you would not want to. 2 monitor gaming is horrible. You have bezels right down the center of your view, where your character or crosshairs would be.

No idea if you can use them in surround (I would venture to guess you could), but I use that asus monitor and an older 60hz acer monitor just in a dual monitor productivity set up, like game on 144hz and watch tv on 60hz, and there are no issues at all.
