So earlier I stated my pc spec which are atm

Fx 6300
960gm-vgs3 mobo
8gb ballistix 1866
1 tb seagate 7200
Antec 620w hcg
amd radoen 6970

Im planning to get upgrades for

500$ its either I get new mobo that supports crossfire and good oc and r9 280x directcuii oc and ssd 128gb

Or I just get r9 290x for 550$

Which is the best option and is the hcg 620w good enough to power my new gfx card if its either r9 280x or r9 290x
And does antec hcg 620w handle cf r9 280x

I'd lower my resolution and check game settings. I wouldn't buy anything new until next April or May. if you swap brands the expense is more. if you upgrade your processor ( to an 8350 ) what will you really gain?......... the gpu is a good upgrade as far as graphics goes. but read that prior post. guess you could bring it to a new build?

gotta add: did you try over clocking the cpu at all?
