GPU driver installation problem

So, today I put in my new HD 7730 into my current system. It's working fine, but, AMD's driver installer isn't. It's been 45 minutes and it is still stuck on 0% at the stupid Microsoft Visual C++ Visual Redistributable installation, blocking the installation of the actual drivers. Any way to get around this? Should I download C++ 2012 individually and hope the driver installer skips it?

Oh, and just in case you needed to know, my OS is Windows Vista Home Basic 32 bit.

I am 100% sure that I downloaded the 32 bit Vista drivers from AMD's website. Ok, now I'll try installing C++ individually.
Thanks for the quick reply :)

EDIT: Wait, what the... it automatically chose the previous answer as solved and I didn't even try it yet. Hmm... mobile site issues?

Just wait for it. Cancel, restart, and retry. Try using drivers from the driver disk.

I did wait. About 15 minutes. Canceled it already, now, just in case it did work, I'm trying the AMD installer again and see what that does. Also, no driver CD, as I got a used card (used slightly though)

EDIT: Nope, no luck, seems that I'll have to restart.

EDIT 2: Ok, just fiddled around with the task manager and individually ended the redist install. Now it's working. Thanks for the help, Andrew :)
