I just completed my first 4.3GHz overclock on my i5-4670k, so if some of the settings seem strange I apologise.

  • Uncore Freq: 3.5Ghz
    VRIN: 1.8v
CPU VCore: 1.23v (I will attempt to see if I can go lower in the afternoon but at this point it is stable).
    BCLK: 100.00 MHz
VRIN Loadline Calibration: Extreme (I'm using a Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H) This is to prevent Vdroop.

I ran Aida64 and my CPU temperature peaked at 66 degrees with a Kraken X40 cooling it. According to NZXT CAM, my CPU idles at about 35 degrees, but according to Gigabyte Easy tune and Aida64, it idles at 29 degrees.

Is there anything I can do to improve this OC (other than to lower the voltage :)) and how will I know which temperature to trust from CAM or EasyTune?

I look forward to your replies!

Yea sorry about that, I initially typed it up on my phone and it deleted my original message so I had to re-do it on my PC.
