VPN Windows Server 2012 Slow

I setup VPN Remote access on windows server 2012 and when users connect, their connection is slow. example: after connecting to vpn their internet speed goes down to around 1mb/s.
Is there anyway to speed up the vpn connection?

When they connect to your vpn it routes all traffic via your server, so it's bottle necked by your upload speed. So their internet access is slowed down, alot.
You can change the internet gateway in the vpn connection options on the client.

properties > networking > ipv4/6 > properties > advanced > uncheck user gateway at remote site.
