I am looking to upgrade from an fx-4100. I don't really want to get into overclocking, but it is not entirely ruled out. I mainly use my computer for gaming.

Current Setup:
AMD FX-4100
MSI 970A-G46
8 GB DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition

For the 7770, the FX-6300 is a great option. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

What would be the difference between this CPU and the FX-8350? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The 6300 is the same, but lower clocks (can be overclocked) and has 6 cores. It still works perfectly fine. Look at the price differences. Go with the 8350 if you have the money, but the 6300 is great.
