I have a brand new router, yet my phone keeps saying my internet connection is unstable???

When I direct connect with an ethernet cable, my connection never drops. But with both routers I have tried it drops and reconnects constantly.

Sounds like you have some conflict with your wireless environment. I would try with no security and use a scan device (lik Xirrus) to determine local conflicting wireless routers then change the channel appropriately. You might also want to call the 1800Support line included wiht the rtouters for them to walk you through it.
