Okay so my RMAed Rampage ii board should get here tomorrow....they have had it 8 days....Pretty sure there was some major BIOS related corruption etc...so they said it was repaired successfully, yet I shipped the board to the Indiana Facility, but they shipped a different board/different serial # from Cali....and they still haven't/never told me exactly what the hell was going on...just wow haha, my god I'm scared to find what I'm going to get haha.

Solution
The likely solution is its simply cheaper to send you the other board than to ship your fixed one back.
When I had to RMA a PSU corsair sent me a new one as mine was in transit to them. Most of the time when you RMA you wont get your hardware back.

Just a question, do you know exactly where the board is coming from in cali? If its City of Industry its a board from newegg.

No man...like they said they were able to repair my board in the rma status etc...but then it says like I get a new serial # of a different/refurbished board I'm assuming coming from Cali, but they never said anything like that. ... not that it matters as long as I get one that works and isn't DOA or something else screwed with it haha, just kinda conflicting/confusing information....haha,

I'm scared man, lots of horror stories with ASUS rma haha
