New computer build from scratch, restart loop issue

I have looked over this thread:
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems

And triple checked every part of it. I still cannot get any image on the monitor and the computer continues to restart every 5 seconds. I've tried different monitors, different RAM, repositioned the CPU cooler 6 separate times, aligning it with the diagram on the mobo near perfectly. I've checked to make sure every single critical component was properly connected to the mobo and PSU, and I still cannot figure this out.

This is my build:

Any help would be appreciated. I'm pretty close to just returning everything at this point.

You could start by pulling out as much as you can to eliminate possible problems. Pull out the video card and hook it up to the integrated, pull the plug on one hard drive and pull out one ram stick. Then test again. If it doesn't start up it's one of the remaining pieces and not the ones you unhooked.

Did you try different RAM slots for your ram? Did you try using only 1 ram stick in different slots? Are you sure your RAM is compatible with that motherboard? What voltages are you reading from your 3v, 5v, and 12v sources? What beeps come out of it when it attempts to boot? Are you sure you have plugged the proper power into your GPU?

Many different answers to your question.

I'm not sure how to get the voltage readings you are referencing here and what information can be gathered from this. Could you elaborate?

As far as the RAM, I can safely say that isn't the issue, I've tried using 1 stick in several spots and used different RAM as well, sticks that I know for a fact work on my current system.

I'd hope that 750W is sufficient power for this sytem, it should only need 500

For voltages, best way is to use a multi-meter and physically measure them while computer is under load. Do you get any beeps from the Bios? And as Bccorupt had stated....remove ALL unnecessary items. You should only have basically a video card and RAM in your system on first test.

I do not have a meter to measure volts, there are no beeps, and I have removed all unnecessary items. All I have hooked up is the PSU, CPU, CPU Cooler, GPU, and RAM.

Nice catch Cristi! I didn't catch that one! That would definitely be a strong source of the problem!

Robcards....If you can't borrow another CPU, go to your local Computer store and ask for assistance with it. They can usually help with a Bios update.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I finally got it to turn on by poking buttons on the mobo. The clear CMOS jumper seemed to be the one that finally did the trick.

False alarm. Got it to come up, installed windows on the SSD, restart it and it goes back to the restart loop again. Tried the CMOS jumper and this time its still doing the restart loop :(

How do I update the bios? I have another computer here, would that work?

Not sure if this is relevant but I did notice that the voltage reading on the mobo itself would only read 15 or 20 when it would do the restart loop, but when I managed to get it to boot up, the readings would spike up much higher than that and be all over the place.

OK I think everything is fine now. I think the wireless adapter being plugged into the PCIe x8 instead of x4 is what was causing the problems. Knock on wood but it seems to be up and running now

Are you sure the power switch is working?

Trace the wires from the power switch to the JFP1 outlet of your motherboard. Check your manual for what pin numbers connect to the switch and then short those two.
