Hi, I am about to purchase a high spec Dell computer for music production using Presonus Studio One as my DAW but the sound card in the Dell is not great. I have good quality studio monitors and my piano workstation will connect directly to the computer via USB. My question is regarding the sound card. Do you think I should upgrade the computer sound card when I have the computer because there is no option to do this now or should I purchase a separate audio interface. I know there are great software sound modules available to use in Studio One but I'm not sure how to get the best out of these either with a better quality computer sound card or using an audio interface.
