ssd with an hdd

Hi I was wondering if I could use an ssd for my operating system to boot up faster and if so could I use whats not used yet in the ssd for storage? Im planning on getting an hdd for all my games and other data (its a gaming pc) and if I can use it for more storage what programs would be the best to store on the ssd?

How big is the proposed SSD?
A 128GB drive can hold the OS and quite a lot of applications, apart from games.

Yes, you can certainly use an SSD and HDD together. That is a very common configuration.

Hi,

I have the exact same scenario you want and it is possible. The only thing I don't do is keep data on SSD, I reserved it just for the OS and apps.
