780 ti and bf4

with my new 780 ti im only getting about 55-60 fps on most maps. my guess is that my 8320 is holding me back but i could be wrong. or if bf4 just that terribly optimized.

+ i just ordered a i7 4790k so should i see a performance upgrade

More about 780 bf4
  1. AMD CPU... yep, that's the problem. You'll see a huge improvement switching to Intel, even if it was just a 4670k or 4690k.
  2. What resolution and settings?

My FX-8350 can easily do over 80fps on high settings (at which point the GPU starts to bottleneck in most maps), so I don't think the CPU is causing this...

Have you touched the resolution scale setting? Are you using Vsync (check game settings and Nvidia control panel)?

Vsync's purpose is to limit the fps to 60. Turn that off and you should see a big improvement.
