Since yesterday I have been getting BSOD saying "critical_process_dies" when playing games.(mostly witcher 2)
I have tried new g.drivers, playing with filter keys" downclocking and updating to 8.1.
Someone tell me a fix for this.

Hi ubermachine,
Can you provide more information, like if the issue is specific to games only or is it happening on any other applications?
Also is the game you are playing linked to the internet, if it is try updating the wifi/ network adapter drivers.
Try updating graphic drivers of both the Graphic Card and also the Integrated graphics.
If you want more info on BSOD you may visit- techelpout.blogspot.in

If you have a game update you need to definitely do it. Might be there is a patch released already for the issue in the new update. Would suggest you to update all the drivers of the system as well...
Hope this helps.

Unfortunately its all games now.If the game is re-opened it will run silky smooth but it will stutter and then crash to BSOD.
By first opening the game its quite slow.
Anybody know how I can get it running smooth again.

Think I may have found the issue.
In Bios I have to set my pcie link speed to gen 2 not 3, why this is even though 3 is there by default.
Also I dont know what Gen to set for the upstream/downstream pcie lanes.

motherboard: asrock e 11, any ideas?
