I have a few builds in mind but I'm unsure what to spend at my price point. Now, I have £475 ready to spend, but I think I'll need to replace my aging monitor if I want to record gaming for YouTube @1080p. So I'll use my 1080p TV which has a response time of 15ms and runs at 60hz? I won't be playing FPS or anything so I think the TV is a consideration. I already have a 4gb stick of RAM and 2x500gb hard drives, and a windows license key so ignore that stuff and MY ONLY POSSIBLE MERCHANT IS SCAN. I also won't be editing as my friend is doing it for me, on our joint YouTube channel but I guess it might be nice every now and then :)

This is a build I've come up with :)

Check the RAM is identical to the stick you have .

I would want a better motherboard for a build where performance is an issue . Probably an H97 chipset model with some decent cooling for the VRM's

Gives you better features and some expansion room that you might appreciate in another year or two

The TV should work fine . If there is any screen tearing then enable vSync in the graphics driver
