how much more powerful will the 880 be compared to the 780 Ti and what new specs/features will it bring?. also will it be lower price (as the rumors suggest compared to 780 and Ti version)?
All responses appreciated. And as always Thanks for your help!

About 20% more performance than the GTX 780 Ti, BUT its only the GM204 part. The big Maxwell GM210 won't be out until the refresh sometime in 2015. That's what I'm waiting for. Of course, I already have a GTX 780 Ti, so it shouldn't be a hardship to wait.

Its up to you man. Its all just rumors. I'm sure you can expect around a 10% increase in performance but is that worth the wait to you?

Hello,

In the direction the industry is moving right now, with customers happily paying over 300 USD for mainstream (GTX760, R9-280), it is highly unlikely to have a price cut not even for the 7xx generation... Maybe the newer cards will be much powerful at the same price points, but I have my doubts given the rebadging history on both NVidia and AMD.

If GTX 880 scores 6110 on the Fire Strike Extreme benchmarks, the GTX 780 scores 4500 and the GTX 780 Ti scores 5000 ( http://www.game-debate.com/news/?news=13676&graphics=GeForce GTX 880&title=Nvidia GeForce GTX 880 Benchmarks Leak Ahead Of Possible Gamescom 2014 Launch), then the GTX 880 is 35.7% better than the GTX 780 and 22.2% better than the GTX 780 Ti.
