hello! do you know any programm that can show me my current cpu speed?? i dont want to tell me that for example i have an i5 4670 3.4ghz which i already know...i want to tell me at which speed me cpu is running right now... you can see that through the bios but is there a programm that can do the same to avoid the reboot?? i m asking because my cpu which is an i5 4670 supports turbo boost technology an i want to know when is this activated... i have already checked CPUID and AIDA64(ex everest) but none of them shows what i want....

This can be done in CPUZ. On the bottom left you'll see it says "Core Speed" with a number that changes occasionally, that is the current clock speed. If it does not change your computer is not setup to allow modification of the clock speed (usually enabled in BIOS).
To verify that Turbo is functioning, use a CPU stress test such as Intel Burntest while running CPUZ.

indeed it shows the current cpu speed and it changes. i used Intel Burntest as you suggested but this awkard thing happened.during the test (stress level maximum) the cpu speed was stable at 3599.16mhz which proves that intel turbo boost is activated but not at its full capacity as it should go up to 3.8 for my processor... then when i stopped the test the speed meter went up to 3.7ghz up and down but the cpu usage according to task manager was at 20% . how is this possible?? when i stretched the cpu i got lower speed than when not... i also tested a video decoding program which i often use (mercalli pro dad) and i also got the same speed (3599.16mhz) when decodind and cpu usage was at 100%.....

searching the internet for my above question i came up with this answer that's from a thread that someone posted having the same question as i am but with i5 4570... so the answer to his question is "intel turbo boost can clock higher on less cores. so in idle it only has to use one core but can clock that up to 3.6ghz. under load it stresses all 4 cores, but can't keep all 4 at 3.6ghz (temps, stability etc), instead the more cores used, the lower your boost clock."
