If your case will support it, I would go with this.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Video Card: Asus Radeon R9 290 4GB DirectCU II Video Card ($399.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($79.24 @ Amazon)
    Total: $479.23
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
  6. Unfortunately you'll need a new power supply (PSU) to support the high-end video cards, as your current 300W is quite low and we cannot vouch for it's quality, as it's not a PSU we'd recommend. However your budget will allow for a video card and PSU upgrade.

The recommendation by logainofhades is great, and I would go with it. The R9 290 is a high-end card and with the new PSU to power it, you should be able to run almost any game, if not all at high-ultra setting with your current setup upgraded.

    All the best. :)
