New black ink cartridge inserted and screen is registering as full. No black is printing though, just the colors are. Put in another full black and the same thing.

did you remove the clear label from the cartridge. there is one at the bottom where the ink is sucked into nozzles.

Yes, I even tried another cartridge, just in case there was something wrong with the 1st. Could there be something wrong with the black ink receiver on the printer, and if so, how do I fix? It' an HP photosmart 3310 all in one.

Psulkowski :

Try to stick the hose thing attached to canned air into the little receiver hole. Be careful. Ink may spay out when blockage is released. If that is the issue
