Uses - Gaming/Streaming/Photoshop/Video Editing and Rendering

Hard drive missing on purpose

Will use windows 8.1

Ill probably pick up a really cheap optical drive just for the sake of having one just in case although I doubt it will get any use.

Part Logic for feedback

CPU - See above uses -I'm aware that I5 is more cost effective for purely gaming but I'm aiming to do more than that with the system so thought I would go for the I7.

CPU Cooler - I hear nothing but good things about Noctua products from my research should give good cooling performance and allow me to fit my ram in. Is it worth getting an extra fan and going push/pull?

Motherboard - Read a few reviews this seems to get the job done.

Memory - Its like £20-30 cheaper than any equivalent at the moment on UK sites but this was the part I'm most unsure about. My research suggests it will fit with the NH-U14S so that was a big +. If you have experience of this would love to hear. If there is something much better but at a slightly more expensive price I will probably switch to that.

Storage - SSD - Ive heard nothing but good things about this from friends

Video Card - Was gonna get a 780 but budget allowed going for the 780ti so I thought what the hell. I'd rather stick to Nvidia to try Shadowplay and I have one of those 3d vision kits lying around somewhere I might whip it out for a laugh.

Case - I hear nothing but good things about this case

PSU - Slightly unsure about this as this was my least researched part.

Extra case fans - 2 front intake (the Noctuas) - 1 bottom intake (default case) - 1 rear exhaust (default case)

Would love to hear your thoughts if everything is good I'm going to start ordering it up in the next few days

Distinguished
cpu - should do well since your gaming and video rendering.
cpu cooler - not experienced with it so cant leave any tips here
motherboard - i would get a different motherboard like from asus or asrock vs msi for better reliability from your motherboard.
memory - the memory is good
storage - ssd is good
video card - id consider getting the gtx 780 possibly to save like 70 euros about. gtx 780 is good enough and will get good enough fps. btw gtx 780ti performs 20% better than 780
case is good
psu is good

Disagree about the PSU. The only good RM unit is the 1000w one. The others use the same junk capacitors as the CX units that fail easily.

Thanks for the advice guys

Regarding the PSU did a quick bit of looking around and can pickup a XFX 750w Black Edition for about the same price it seemed to get good reviews in the first few I came across.

XFX ProSeries 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

If thats decent I'm gonna have a look into the motherboard a bit more and then I think I'm probably in a good spot.

Any and all comments still welcome regarding anything in the build.

Thanks
