It idles around 30-40c, but when under load with gaming it goes to 60-80c. Should I be worried? It got to about 82c doing garry's mod and 78c in 4 minutes of counter striker global offensive. the card is an evga 770

What case are you using?? If its a small case the card could be circulating hot air around the case, but if you have the blower design fan (reference) it should be alright... Vsync is making your graphics card only use the power your monitor can display, so thats why the temps drop...

Holy crap that's high. The highest I've ever seen mine is 65 ish and that's with dual monitors and streaming. I mean they do have around 90-95 cut off but playing regularly at 80c will destroy your gpu. How's your airflow??

I think vsync has fixed it. I always hated vsync because it always made my mouse mess up but I turned it on in csgo and the temps immediately dropped to 47-56c.
